Crash, Bang....

We both turned to see a tui had crashed into our ranch slider.  it's mate was hovering and checking, flying away and coming back.  I knelt down  inside and took this shot through the window.  We didn't want to frighten it too much.  After a short while it flew away, thankfully.  This is the first time we've had a tui fly into a window.  Often we get waxeyes and occasionally a kereru.

It was a wettish day with lots of happenings.  Library was busy during interval and lunch time as the students said it was cold outside!
