The beautiful moon

To the moon and back in an hour with the Brownies. We made it and had a fantastic time ;)
The girls looked amazing in their fantastic costumes,some great imagination shown, all very enthusiastic and all hopefully, have a little bit more knowledge about the moon and what it would be like to travel in Space.
We just about managed to get the room set up, not easy in 10 minutes but we did it. We had a rocket in the middle of the room, a cabin with feeding station of dried fruit and a hydration station with bags of water with a straw for them to drink. A Space station where they carried out experiments and a large area where they could go on a moon walk , wearing stilts, to collect moon rocks with large tongs. They made their own flags and placed them on the moon. In no time at all it was time to return to earth , two little Aliens returned with us, and it was then a sad goodbye to Chloe. Hopefully she'll pop i and see us when she has a break from Uni :)
The real moon looked wonderful tonight , large and shining over the Moray Firth .The Harvest Moon is the on the 6th, so hope it's a clear night so the girls can see it :)
