The Girl with the Red Umbrella

It has rained all day!  I went out this morning to get my groceries, and do odd jobs around town.  After lunch I saw that the sky was clearing, so I walked down to the lake to get a photo.  On the way down I met a man, and I asked him if I would get wet.  Of course not he replied.  With that the heavens opened, and I arrived home dripping wet!  It was great that I had already lit the fire, so my home was nice and warm.  This little girl and her parents arrived at our famous tree to get a photo for their family album.  As ever, I was ready with my camera, and captured the scene.

The good news is that it is snowing on the mountains, so that should revive the ski season for another few weeks.

I have been sorting out photos for my next book, a perfect day to get that done.  Off to seniornet in the morning, then I am going to a funeral in the afternoon.  Let's hope that the weather cl;ears a bit.
