Furst Daa of Skool

The day after Labor Day, the first day of school for most of the schools in Michigan.

For the 2nd year in a row, along with his parents...we went over to see the little man off.

I think I have different feelings as a grandparent than as a parent. As a parent, I think we were ready when the time came to send the kids back. But, as a grandparent...I'm sort of sad to see him go back. Perhaps it is because we will see him less, or because you see the passage of time in a clearer sense. ?????

As for the collage...no, the picking of the nose was not my idea...but I did think it was funny.
