All about the girl

Impressively she was out of her room by 7am. And all ready to go with the requested 5mins put aside for doorstep photos.

And she was off.

Just Year 7s in for the first two days and they are easing them in a very kind way with a day of music today and a day of sports tomorrow. The parents were invited to come to the end of the day and hear them all singing. One of those times that makes having a ginger especially beneficial when you can spot them easy from a quick head scan. Was lovely to see them and they all looked so happy and settled all ready.

And a bonus walk home with a super chatty Anna* full of first day tales of teachers and friends and the dining room and the amazing breaktime snacks (waffles) and lunch offerings (chicken tikka masala and rice).

Meanwhile Jackson had a final music lesson with Philip. Well final for this holiday. They are going to keep working via email and it seems highly likely we will be back for more. The whole thing has far exceeded all our expectations. I have also labelled all his uniform and he has packed his bags. And done an excellent job of keeping himself distracted. Including making a distracting himself plan for most of the day tomorrow.
