Carmine bee-eater

This is the first time I have seen this bird in a position within the cage where I could get a good shot. It was lovely to open up the shot and see the detail in this gorgeous bird. In extras a masked plover (such a great name, it really looks like it is at a masked ball!) and penguins in a particularly nice arrangement.
