Dragonfly Eyes

The community is back to school and work and was humming this morning at 7 AM when I drove my husband to the train.  The high school students actually looked awake this morning as they waited for the bus for their first day back.  I have to say I was thrilled that I was heading to the local gardens on this gorgeous September day.  I only took my macro lens so I wouldn't be tempted by the birds.  I chose this dragonfly to post because of the facets in its eyes.  Now as I look at the thumbnail, the dots have turned into swirls.  I'll be curious to check it out in large and see the final result.
