With the increasingly Sahara like conditions here, we've started harvesting some of our pumpkins. Unlike those nasty tasteless things sold around Halloween, this Crown Prince is a proper vegetable with the advantage of it comes in its own almost impenetrable wrapper, making transport to the Hebrides easy.
We are rapidly becoming the vets best customers. Ruadh is now throwing up regularly - great - but it is nothing, we are assured to do with her operation on our seventh visit in the last three weeks.
