New College

This is not a good photo but it is needed for the story. So today we drove 70 odd miles to Bodmin to retrieve the glasses. On Saturday morning we spoke to the bus driver who rang the driver we had spoken to the evening before. He said he had found some glasses in the bus and yes, they were my husband's. Finding the bus yard was a bit difficult, down a narrow lane by Asda's (we went down the wrong lane) but we did eventually find the grotty looking building where we hoped to find them. Luckily the "office" was manned and there they were on the desk so happy bunnies having travelled all that distance but no cost at all compared to a new pair of spectacles. On the way home, we called in to pick up my replacement fruity phone which had been sent to the shop so two successes in one day and we were home before one. The picture is a brand new sixth form college which has just opened in Bodmin opposite the bus depot, it comprised three very posh buildings. It was replacing an old college which only housed 300 pupils so I hope there are some more going to join them.
