Farrananamanagh

Bright and breezy by Farrananamanagh Lake, a fresh water lagoon that  flows out to the sea. Carry on across the bridge and you walk up onto the hills with stupendous views out across the bay towards the Mizen Peninsula. Follow the river down and you reach a pebbly beach (big pebbles) and the curve of a small bay. Follow the path to the right and you come to a cluster of houses and a field full of four alpacas, a turkey and many chickens. Never dull.
