To Ijmuiden
Another fine sunny day and a good one to cycle back to ijmuiden through central Amsterdam, and then crossing by ferry over to the north side on the North Sea Canal and further west, back again. With a tiny ferry between those two.
After a shop at good old Albert Hejn, and a tin of beer, courtesy of MrW, we stopped in at the Fish Waasdorp place for a final eat. Octopus? I'm not sure where that's from around here. Still, it was very good washed down with another beer.
Sometimes this reads like a cycling pub crawl, I imagine. A stop for a beer is more noteworthy than miles of countryside and villages passed through. And yet it's the beer that's incidental.
So, on to the ferry and the camped guzzle and up to see the tweed capped beardy troubadour. And big foamy Heinekens! Hurrah!
