Mono Monday - Favourite Place

The town lake is one of my favourite places and the source of many a blip.
I love the light in the afternoon, especially when it catches the silver birches and throws long criss crossing shadows across the grass. 
My English friend came for lunch then I dropped in some leftover dessert to another friend who lives near the lake. It was a lovely sunny day, although cool, after all the rain we have had.
