Tasty!

Breakfast was a real treat today and the bread to go with my egg, freshly baked, straight from the bread making machine.
This time it was for real, the loaf in complete contrast to my last attempt which had looked and felt like a brick. True, it was palatable when toasted, but scarcely appetising.
Today’s attempt salved all my concerns over my ability to come up with the perfectly baked loaf. It had been baked overnight, and the sheer aroma of freshly baked bread when I got up was sufficient to set the taste buds tingling.
Accompany that with a free range egg from the farmers’ market at the weekend and I knew I was set for the day.

Now, I can’t wait to bake the next one.  Only hope my luck stays with me!
