The weather finally breaks......

Well thats the risk you take when you go anywhere on holiday. Todays rain was the first the island had had since May this year.
Little did we know that it would last until we finally flew home on Sunday morning.
There were very high winds, thunder and lightning and hailstones thrown in for good measure. It was probably the most relaxing period of a holiday i've ever had.

Our perfect Turquoise sea was now a churning grey mass of angry water, the clear blue skies, well the next blue sky we'd see would be Sunday morning.

It wasn't a matter of writing these days off, it was a matter of making the most of the situation, there was lots of eating, drinking, laughing, joking around and reading.

Everything considered it's still the best holiday we've ever had.
