Although it's Mono Monday and I've done a mono image, it's not of my favourite place. That's all the way up in the Cairngorms, alas too far to go for a blip in one day. These are Mum's real gold specs, though the pearls are faux sadly. I just liked the lustre of them really, and thought I'd try a study of them. This is the first picture in ages which I haven't faffed with at all - straight off my iPhone 5s.

Another productive day where I saved nearly £100 on my boiler and central heating contract. I also managed to tidy up the back garden this afternoon after fixing lunch, doing the Sainsbury's run, cooking and clearing up after dinner and putting out the rubbish. And relax.
