It's great...
...to know that even when they're on holiday, touring Europe with their family, our lovely friends Karen & Neil were still thinking of us! Today, they sent us this present through the post. Foreign dog poo bags, from France & Luxembourg. I guess they are free in the street, to encourage dog owners to clear up. Now, do we use them? Or do I put one of each in my bag collection....JOKING! Bags in my bag collection are paper. Thank you Neil ;-)
Very busy at work, and that won't change now for a while....or ever. Home at a bit after 6. Jon was cooking dinner, but after we'd eaten we drove up to Homebase to look at toilets and basins. We decided we like the cheapest ones. What are we missing? Toilet 1 is £48, toilet 2 £125, to us they looked the same. The sink I like, which matches cheap toilet is £32. So without taps we can get both for £80. We think it will be necessary to get planning permission to put a small cloakroom in the garage. Surviving with one toilet between 5 is a challenge! It has been on 'our' to do list since we moved up here (our list, but Jon will be the one creating a cloakroom out of nothing!!) We may buy them next month and just store in the garage until we get time to take it further.
On our way home, already dark, we drove via the allotment and topped up the chicken food. There haven't been any eggs since last week, so I'm wondering if someone else has found them...that, or they've stopped laying already.
Home now, and watching BBC4 and something about The Normans. Then bed.
