This is more for the record. 

I thought it would be more fun when Leith Street (the least pleasant bit of the commute) closed to traffic, but it's only a little bit of it, and you have to get off your bike for a bit.  

The Picardy Place roundabout was nice and quiet, but the confusion factor meant a bit of extra caution was required.
