Cow and calf
Today we caught the bus from Tintagel back to Black Rock where we finished walking yesterday. We didn't start walking until 11.45 as the buses are few and far between and we had to get to our next destination which was Crackington Haven again to catch the bus back to Tintagel just after 4pm. It was rather tight but we made it with less than 10 minutes to spare. We watched this cow licking this calf and you can still see the membrane in places on the little one so it must have been born very recently. We passed a lovely looking beach en route, in extras, called Strangles beach. When we got off the bus at Tintagel, my husband realised he didn't have his reading glasses, panic, they must have fallen out of his pocket on the bus. Why didn't he wear his walking trousers today which have really deep zipped pockets? We worked out the route of the bus and decided to go back later in the evening at 10 past 7 to catch the bus returning. We stopped the bus and no, it was a different bus. The bus we had been on was now in the depot at Bodmin. The driver promised that when he returned at 10pm, he would check to see if the glasees were there and he would leave them at the depot. To be continued.....
These words actually refer to yesterday's entries but the photos are correct for today when we walked from Crackington Haven to Boscastle and then onto Tintagel.
