Broken bit

Missy-moo asked me last night if I could sort out her iPad, which was not charging. Sure enough, the lightning connector was... not connecting. Looking in the end, it appeared different; shallower.

... Did you perhaps break the charger, dear?

Oh. Cool.

Took it to work today, obtained a safety pin, having read suggestions online. Used the safety pin to force the edges in so it would slip past the little doohickeys which hold the connector in place.

Herewith the result; leaving a once-again-charging iPad.
