Crewe Heritage Centre

I spent much of my working life in engineering safety and much of that was  in the transportation domain.  So I love places like the Crewe Heritage Centre where you can see full signalling boxes and the like.  The APT prototype (Advanced Passenger Train) built in 1979 is amazing to see - shame the train never made it into full passenger service.
