Beaver
No, it's not a real beaver, although I would love to see a beaver in real live!
Our village is called "Groß-Bieberau" that would be translated in "Great-Beaver-Lea" and funny enough there are beavers setteled again since some years. You can see the traces along the river Gersprenz, but you never see the beavers.
Today was a big organized hiking event in our village and so there was also a "Beaver-mobile", a car with a stuffed beaver and a lot of material over beavers. They made a geat time for the kids and we could learn a lot about beavers.
This beaver seems to wave, but he presents his hind leg with floating skins and a double claw, which is used to care and grease his fur.
I was absolutely astonished how thick and soft a beavers fur is.
It was a very interesting break on a very busy day.
I needed a lot (lot!!!) of time until the photos of the exhibition were proceeded in the way the artist liked.
We had a deadline, because they should be used in a sort of brochure.
Finish at 11pm, than started with T.'s diary on her speach computer, which is also needed on Monday morning at school. I've tipped into bed at 2:30 am and a cruel alarm kicked me out at 5:35 am.
Perhaps I'll get tired during the day.... :-)
