Band-winged Meadowhawk

I took the long way home from my niece's house this morning, hoping to find a blip along the way.  I actually spotted this dragonfly on the fence as I was driving by and he was kind enough to wait there for me while I parked and got closer with my camera.  I walked down into some high grass (wearing shorts and flip flops) and took several shots.  By the time I got back into the car my legs were itching like crazy.  Luckily I wasn't too far from home so I could get right into the shower.  I don't know what it was but I must have washed it off because the itching stopped and hasn't come back.  I should learn a lesson from that....but I probably won't ;-)
