Celebrating Emmy

If there were a picture next to the word TROUPER in the dictionary, it would be this picture of our granddaughter. She just completed the radioactive iodine treatment and today was the first day in a while that she could eat "real food." She broke her "fast" at midnight with a big donut from Biagio's bakery, followed by lunch at a terrific Mexican restaurant. We are so proud of her grace and endurance at a difficult time and for demonstrating what a real trouper she can be. Way to go, Emmy!
