Tour de Royal Mile

Instead of snapping the Tour of Britain Depart from Edinburgh, I was running a Switch to Manual workshop which takes us along the Royal Mile where the Depart was starting from. After the pro-riders had left there was a family event which gave us the chance to try out a panning technique where we keep the subject nice and sharp but make the background appear as if it is whizzing by. This wee guy made a great candidate and looks like he is keeping up with the pros in his little green jacket and helmet!
