Different strokes

for different folks - that's what I thought when I saw two couples enjoying the water in different ways.
I hadn't gone for a walk down Burgoyne Bay for quite awhile.  It was such a beautiful morning but already quite hot, and I thought that a walk through the trail in the forest overlooking the bay would be perfect.  It was.  There was only one other person on the trail.  Amazing.
Spamalot was fantastic last night!  I'm a big Monty Python fan and remembered all the scenes adapted from the original Monty Python and the Holy Grail film. The cast was excellent, such great singing and dancing, and the sets and props were amazing.  So much talent on this island.  
Yes, we did sing along and whistle to "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life"!  And we weren't the only ones.  Fewer people did when the song came up during the musical, but the grand finale got a standing ovation and full participation from the audience - well, it seemed like full participation because it sure was loud!  Many minutes of clapping and cheering, all well deserved.  Salt Spring audiences have to be the best!
