Chicken, mushroom and broccoli pie

In a bid to recover from our various afflications (mainly the aftermath of the Louisville lurgy) Mr hazelh have enjoyed a quiet day at home. His was spent mainly at the computer in the study. Here he programmed, sorted photos, and worked on a second blipbook for Cousin don_t.

In the kitchen I undertook quite a lot of cooking - producing additional supplies of stock, soup (roast pepper and tomato), and a chicken pie - while listening to some excellent Radio 4 programmes on the iPlayer.

Our only trip out was to the supermarket. We actually ended up going twice. The second visit was to stock up on heavily discounted Champagne that we noticed on the first visit, but could not carry. All the bottles are now safely stored in our cellar in readiness for our Christmas party in December. (Here's hoping we don't break into the supply beforehand!)

I have blipped the contents of my pie before I added its lid.
