New facility

Another day with a plethora of blip choices. I guess it will settle down soon, but meanwhile for those interested in additional photos, there's an album on flickr.

We walked to the station to meet N off the train from Tampere. She's been at a couple of conferences in northern climes, and was on her way to Stockholm to meet some research collaborators. K joined us. She was part of my team in Edinburgh, and she's been living in Helsinki for a year now. It was good to get together. After lunch at Engel, where Mr A claimed to get bored, we wandered down to the market place and took a look at the new swimming and sauna facility that has been built there. It offers a new perspective on the market area, and despite the prevalence of cars in the blipped shot, I decided to go with this one (rather than, for example, another sunset shot which I got later in the evening).

Later on we watched some rugby on the laptop. It's good that some of our usual home activities can be carried on here.
