Above the clouds

Down on Earth, it's a meh day, full of autumn winds and rain. In the imagination, and with some help from Luminar and a large dose of artistic interpretation, there remains the hope of summer.

Simples, really. take an early morning sunrise shot and invert it. Of a sudden we are flying above all the grey bleh and bathing in the warmth of the upper atmosphere.

If only is was that easy down here in wet Gloucestershire. Still, the forecast is improving. Maybe...
