wk35: Turning point (again)

Nothing about rowing, but the turning point from summer to autumn this week. The week started with midsummer temperatures and ended with cold and rainy days. Too much rain again in some areas and the level of Lake Constance just raised about half a meter within 2 days.

Also the sunflower field in our neighbourhood looks very autumnal. It was heavily impacted by the thunderstorm on 2nd August 2017. Not many leaves left, and the ones still hanging quite damaged. Walking along the wood we realized how many fallen trees there are. According to some experts, the damage has been done by some whirlwind and not just a typical thunderstorm. May be linked to some climate change ... which doesn't exist according to some leaders ... Fact is, that after 2013 and 2015 we had the third warmest summer since weather readings do exist.
