On the road to .... Mont Saint Michel

This road is in fact the A84 motorway linking Caen (in Normandy) and Rennes (in Brittany).  The traffic here, comprising mainly holiday traffic, is relatively light only because it the time is a little past midday and drivers need to eat.

On the horizon, about 8 kms away, is the town of Avranches.
