Off course

A trip out birding today we headed over to the coast and did a spot of sea watching. We then headed up the coast to a place near Grimsby to see a rare wader that spends its time breading in Canada &  Alaska . It is a White-rumped Sandpiper . We thankfully managed to see it and i showed very well giving very good views . I took a few shots but not the best of shots as it was distant and i had to put my 2x converter on meaning I had to manually focus the camera. But was just happy to see it as it was a new species of bird for me.I have posted some more shots on Flickr
