 What a difference a day makes, and not the kind of weather for J to go out on his motorbike, so he took me to the gym. I didn't take my headphones in, because Des said he would be there, and you definitely don't need them if he is there. I asked John if he had seen him, and he said, no, he's like Lord Lucan! I went back out to the changing room, got my headphones, and back into the gym. Carried on for a while, when all of a sudden , you know who turned up, Apparently, he had slept late!    I left not long afterwards, and we came home & had lunch. Glass Eye  Peter called, to tell J that he had been to Thunder Road, a local bike shop, and seen a motorbike he liked, and wanted to know what J's opinion was.  J told him to go for it, and off he went. About an hour later, he called again to say he had bought the bike, and was picking it up on Friday. What an exciting day, not!
