Under Starter's Orders

Outside Selby Abbey waiting to start our ride. It was the flattest 50km I've ever ridden.

We made good time (2hrs 40mins including our stop). I think we could have improved on that but we had the wind against us for the second half of the ride. We're not complaining though. The sun shone and the temperature was just right. More importantly it didn't rain!!

I'm now showered and refreshed and ready for a late lunch and a glass of something!!
