I have to admit I have only ever seen chipmunks scurrying around on the ground and have never seen one in a tree. I was glad to be able to capture this in Central Park this afternoon. 

We took a very early morning drive to NYC as we are on duty to babysit our darling little 7.5 month old while our son and daughter in law have a wedding to attend this weekend.  My son is in the wedding party so it means rehearsal dinner, black-tie wedding and brunch the morning after. Three days of activities.  We get to spend that time with our darling little girl. 

It is Labor Day weekend here in the U.S which always marks the end of summer.  The weather is already cool and feeling like fall.  Wishing all a safe and fun holiday weekend.
