All four of us up early to wish the birthday girl many happy returns and to watch her opening her pressies.

She was thrilled because she got some lovely gifts. A lady of eclectic tastes... her 11th year saw her get (amongst a lot of other things) a Lego Minecraft set, Vicar of Dibley box set and the new Guinness Book of Records.

She is really looking forward to her big sis coming back from uni to take her out and treat her.

Little sis was tired tonight and rather overcome by the injustice of it not being *her* birthday. She did get a couple of little pressies too but it didn't help alleviate her grumpy mood.

Jeanne wants to have a birthday sleepover, so that is the next thing to organise - quite appropriate for the girl who never slept.

Library life shows no sign of slowing down, working late Friday and on Saturday. I'm already looking forward to putting in some serious 'pottering' 'mooching' 'slobbing' and 'napping' time on Sunday!

Really tired after today's early wake up call, but the photo of her opening her Horrible Histories card says it all....

She's worth it.
