Steps to success

I visited my old school, it was a grammar school when I attended (1957 - 1964),  then became a sixth form college (TRC Thomas Rotherham College) in 1967 and today was celebrating 50 years since its foundation. Thomas Rotherham was an archbishop and Lord Chancellor in the 1400s and founded the school in 1483 as the College of Jesus. I remember attending the 500th anniversary in 1983.

I was rather impressed by the messages on the stairs, they weren't there in my day - persuasion by corporal punishment then.
