We had a proper lunch outside in proper sun today in our new garden. That was after spending a bit of time in the morning doing post-finishing touches.  In town by 10, though, to do cardigan shopping and scones in John Lewis cafe, chosen for the view of the building site, but instead giving a view of this boat https://www.windstarcruises.com/yachts/wind-surf/overview/, which we went to see in the afternoon.  My passenger fell asleep, which necessitated a trip into the lovely Milk cafe at the sculpture workshop (extra).  

Avoiding the sleep was important, for she is on holidays on her own.  We went to see 'Detroit' and had a drink in Cloisters.
