The Morning After

After a full English breakfast, we all went for a walk at the beach - it was a perfect morning, being warm and sunny.  One of the ladies had actually gone down to the beach before breakfast and said she saw two dolphins!

We took Rocky with us too and I got a great photo of him posing for a selfie with Bess - added to my extras.

After a drink at the beach, we all parted ways and I went to Holmbush shopping centre at Shoreham to pick up a few things.  Then following the sat nav, I ended up stuck in traffic on the coast road for over 30 minutes due to very heavy traffic.  Apparently there'd been a bad accident on the Old Shoreham Road, so they'd closed the road!

I finally got home about 3pm and we spent the afternoon in the garden.  Then tonight Elif and Seyran came round and we went to the fireworks display on the Tye.  It's an annual event every year where they have a fair ground and the fireworks. It was the perfect night for it and a nice finale to Elif's hen weekend.
