Complicated selfie

Triennial started today, so we went off to explore. This beautiful piece of work is at the Quarterhouse, in the visitor centre. Called 'The Clearing' it's by Studio Ben Allen and is meant to represent the moment you find yourself on a forest clearing, where you stop for a moment to get your bearings and take it all in. I thought more about cathedrals and cloisters, also spaces for quiet and contemplative thought. I also really wanted something like it in my hallway, and a hallway big enough to have it in, but that's my shallow side!
