Kayak Expeditions

A fantastic day back in the Kayak for my level one skills course. I love this so much! After we all got sorted with kayaks and kit, we spent the rest of the day on an expedition learning as we went. Turns out the most precarious part of learning to kayak, is the other people around you learning to kayak! But as tentative little ducklings we headed out into open water, was completely awe inspiring to paddle under the rail bridge. We went for a loop round Inchgarvie Island and back. Then it was learning how to rescue each other and ourselves before heading home for a hot shower and a quiet night!
