From Thixendale to Wintringham today via the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy with its derelict church. It was the furthest and certainly the toughest stage so far.

It was a full 12.3 miles up hill and down dale, again and again...we certainly felt in need of the pint waiting for us in the pub at the end.
