A truly British strawberry, called " Sweet Eve".
Aroma and intense sweet flavour of wild strawberries.
Fabulous flavour. Doesn't need any sugar.
Just like strawberries used to taste.
It has been developed through a 25 year breeding programme, on which master breeder, Peter Vinson, from Kent, has worked continuously.
An everbearer variety, meaning each plant produces fruit again and again from June to October.

These, believe it or not ,were bought in Tesco.
It was the attractive boxes which caught my eye. What clever packaging.
Grown in Staffordshire by Dearnsdale Fruit farm, and only £3.00 a kilo.
How fantastic is that!
The best I have tasted in years.
