Oak Bush Cricket - Meconema thalassinum

Another lovely day and several little jobs out of the way... This morning I found this Oak Bush-cricket climbing up our bedroom wall. A great opportunity to set up a little 'studio' on the kitchen table. The beauty of it all was I could get some practice shots before catching the star of the shot.  the cricket climbed to the top of the twig and just sat there... perfect!

This afternoon the local farmer started ploughing a field just down the road so I felt compelled to do a bit of tractor chasing.  This is a John Deere 8335 R pulling a seven furrow plough. (extra)
