Tick tock...
...dandelion clock!
The first day of Autumn, said the weather man on the radio this morning. It certainly felt like it when I got off the bus in Berwick this morning, with a definite chill in the air, though it had warmed up nicely by the time I left work later on.
Our friend Janet was passing through Wooler this afternoon and popped in for a cup of tea. Good to see her, and to hear about her trip to Alaska and Yellowstone National Park.
We stopped off at Branton Lakes on the way to do a supermarket shop - hundreds of dandelion clocks waiting for the wind to scatter their seed-head parachutes.
