42 k Ski

These 3 guys came 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 42 k ski.  Here they are just setting out.  Extra No. 1 is the finish.  So close after skiing for 42 k's.  The day started off very foggy, and it wasn't until lunch time that the fog rolled away to reveal the beautiful snow covered mountains.  Extra No.2 is the 3 guys getting their photo taken.  Extra No. 3 is a skier passing my viewing spot.  Extra No. 4 is my photo for our 2018 family calendar, and Extra No. 5 is of the base area once the fog had cleared.  I went up with The Boss from Tussock Tales, and he had a great day out on the trails too.  Pleased to be home now with a nice hot fire going.
