Electricity
Six o'clock this morning, I was woken by the sound of rain thundering of my bedroom window. Then an almighty clap of thunder and the bedroom lit up with a massive flash of lightning. I thought the world was coming to an end, what a start to the day. When I got home from work the rain had gone and the wind had dropped. Even the sun was trying to put in an appearance.
Hayley had been out for lunch with Cheryl as she has no lectures on a Wednesday so I ran her home. On the way back, the mist had started to descend on the pentland hills so I stopped and took a few shots.
I liked the look of this one, after all the day had started with electricity which I must add was fantastically out of control. At least when I took this it was well harnessed in the wires supported by this pylon. Its inspired me to add a song to my blip today and this is perfect, the brilliant Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Electricity .
