Another bike ride along a paved road. I was on my way to the Kinsol Trestle. 13 kilometers into the trip the seat post bolt broke. I was without my saddle. I decided to turn back and go home. I took a shortcut through the forest following a logging road. Then a thought came to me. I could place my bike helmet on the seat post and use it as a seat. This arrangement worked. I sat on my helmet for 12 kilometers.
