Moon on a wet slate roof

I was faffing about wondering which of two rather miserable photos I should upload or whether today was my opportunity to be bold and take a day off. I realised a cup of tea was more appealing than either photo so wandered into the kitchen. Before I got to the kettle this silver roof caught my eye. I ran to grab the camera. This was visible from only one very narrow vantage point and I had to get on with it. No time for a tripod.

It's blurred and not brilliantly composed but it is the most interesting thing to have crossed my vision today.

Now off to make that cup of tea.
