Campers at Over Cliff field at Shortlake Farm

Out tent wasn't as close to the cliff top as these intrepid souls, but we now wish we had been a little closer. The walkers were ambling along the signposted coastal walk. These views from this lower field are amazing. But our site had its own advantages, being close to the hot showers for instance.

We really liked this campsite and recommend it, although it only opens for the month of August each year, for legal reasons. Its position close to weymouth and the Jurassic coastline is ideal, and it has access to a beach just below the cliff which isn't overrun with people. We will return.
