Street Flowers

Lovely wildflowers on a grass verge in the street where I live.

I won't be around for a few days as I have my penpal arriving from San Francisco this afternoon.  We have been writing to each other since I was 12 and she was 11 - more years than I care to remember.

We have met three times.  Once in London, once in San Francisco and once in York but this is the first time she has been to my home in Newcastle upon Tyne.  Last time was about nine years ago.
